Huawei has unveiled the Watch D, the company's latest smartwatch and its first that can measure blood pressure levels. The Watch D can take an ECG too, and has built-in GPS and NFC support. Huawei has equipped the Watch D with a large display, but the smartwatch will currently only be available in China.

Huawei has finally revealed the Watch D, its first smartwatch that can measure blood pressure levels. As the press images below show, the Watch D can also measure your heart rate and take an ECG, among other capabilities. Unsurprisingly, the Watch D also supports Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and NFC.

However, there is no built-in speaker, even though Huawei has integrated a microphone. The Watch D also has a 1.64-inch AMOLED display that resolves at 456 x 280 pixels with a 326 PPI. Supposedly, the smartwatch weighs 40.9 g without a strap and measures 51 x 38 x 13.6 mm.

Huawei will offer the Watch D in two colours and two strap sizes. The smartwatch is compatible with Android 6.0, HarmonyOS 2 and iOS 12.0 or above. The IP68 certified smartwatch will only be available in China for the time being, where it will retail for CNY 2,988 (~US$469). Unfortunately, it is unclear when Huawei will release the Watch D globally.
