Apple iPhone 17 hands-on videos show dummy in two new colors
Following a recent leak that revealed the all expected launch colors of the iPhone 17 series, leaker @MajinBuOfficial now shows two of the new Apple iPhone 17 colors in hands-on videos that are embedded below. The smartphones shown are non-functional dummy units, but they are said to accurately represent the final iPhone 17 in detail.
The colors shown are violet (Pantone 530 U) and green (Pantone 2282 U), although the iPhone 17 is also expected to be available in white, black, dark gray, and light blue. Compared to the iPhone 16, the new hues are noticeably brighter, warmer and slightly less saturated. Darker shades are reportedly reserved for the Pro models this year, specifically dark blue and an intense orange.
Aside from the color, the iPhone 17 design remains virtually unchanged. The biggest design changes, such as a significantly larger camera module, are expected to be exclusive to the more expensive models in the iPhone 17 Pro series. Therefore, the regular iPhone 17 should feature a dual-camera system in a pill-shaped camera bump on the back, along with a flat frame that includes a dedicated camera shutter button and a user-programmable Action Button.
However, several significant upgrades are expected in terms of specifications. The iPhone 17 is finally rumored to receive a 120Hz OLED display, the ultrawide camera will reportedly utilize a higher-resolution 48MP sensor, and Apple is expected to offer a new 24MP selfie camera and a faster, more efficient processor.
