Amazfit Helio Strap and new smartwatches launching soon

An Amazfit representative has provided more information about the release of the Helio Strap. This wearable was rumored at the start of June 2025 and has since been officially announced by Amazfit in a blog post. Plus, a leaked product listing at Walmart indicated that the upcoming device could launch soon.

Now, in a reply to a prospective customer on Reddit, an Amazfit team member appears to have confirmed that the Helio Strap will be released in the near future. When a user mentioned that their Whoop subscription was due for renewal in 27 days, the Amazfit representative replied “you will learn more before then.” This seemingly confirms that the brand’s new wearable will be launched before July 13th.

There were also hints about the global release of the Amazfit Balance 2 smartwatch, released in China in May 2025, and the Active 2 Square, recently leaked at North American retailers. In response to questions about these new devices on the same Reddit post, the Amazfit team member said that “all shall be revealed just over the horizon.” 

The exact global launch date of the Amazfit Helio Strap, the Amazfit Balance 2 smartwatch and the Amazfit Active 2 Square smartwatch has yet to be announced. As a reminder, the Helio Strap is expected to retail for $79.99 in the US.
