CES 2024 | Lenovo Yoga Book 9i 9th gen gets minor spec bump to Intel 14th gen Core Ultra Raptor Lake-U Refresh

We first reported on the imminent arrival of the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i 9th gen late last month, and now the dual-display OLED convertible gets an official unveiling at CES 2024. Lenovo claims that the Yoga Book 9i 9th gen is the world's first full-size dual-screen OLED laptop, but Asus might not be far away from the limelight either.

The Lenovo Yoga Book 9i 9th gen is powered by Intel's new 14th gen Core Ultra processors, similar to the 2023 Yoga Book 9i that was offered with Core i7-1365U and the Core i7-1355U. It helps to note that these are not Meteor Lake processors but 15 W Raptor Lake-U Refreshes. Complementing the CPU is up to 32 GB LPDDR5x memory and up to a 1 TB PCIe Gen4 SSD.

Not much has changed with regard to the specifications from the last year model. We still get to see dual 13.3-inch 60 Hz Samsung OLED 16:10 2.8K touch HDR panels that can cover 100% DCI-P3 with 400 nits brightness. The Yoga Book 9i still retains the 15.95 mm (0.63 inches) thickness, but its weight is significantly reduced at 1.34 kg.

A FHD webcam with IR is present along with a 5 MP shooter. Port selection remains the same with 3x Thunderbolt 4 ports. The Yoga 9i supports Wi-Fi 6E networking with Bluetooth 5.2, but Lenovo admits that a software limitation only allows for Bluetooth 5.1. The displays offer 2x 2 W and 2x 1 W Bowers and Wilkins speakers with Dolby Atmos. Battery capacity remains unchanged at 80 WHr.

The Lenovo Yoga Book 9i 9th gen will be available in April 2024 starting at US$1,999.99.
