inZOI is the upcoming life simulation game developed on Unreal Engine 5, and it is going to be a demanding title. inZOI Studios, the developer of the game, has shared detailed system requirements for the optimal experience at different visual settings and to enjoy the game at the High preset, a Ryzen 7 9800X3D is recommended. The 9800X3D is one of the most powerful gaming CPUs on the market, if not the most powerful, and inZOI seems heavy enough to demand that much power.
According to the hardware requirements posted by the developer on the official website, those who want to enjoy inZOI at the High preset will need either a Ryzen 7 9800X3D or an Intel i7-14700K CPU, an RTX 4080 or a Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU, 32GB of RAM, and 75GB of storage space. These requirements drop down quite a bit at the minimum spec which includes either a Ryzen 5 3600 or an Intel i5-10400 CPU, an RTX 2060 or a Radeon RX 5600XT GPU, 12GB of RAM, and 40GB of storage.
As for what inZOI Studios recommends, a system with either a Ryzen 7 7800X3D or an Intel i7-12700K, an RTX 3070 or a Radeon RX 6800XT, 16GB of RAM, and 60GB of storage would suffice. The developer has also shared a comparison video showing the different visual presets in effect. These are fairly powerful gaming PC requirements and those with more mid-tier builds will have to rely on DLSS, FSR, or XeSS to improve their frame rates, if the game supports these upscalers.
inZOI is scheduled for March 27 and will be available to download via Steam. It will be in early-access and a live showcase is set for March 19, 2025, at 01:00 UTC.
