iFi Audio launches Go Link 2 USB-C DAC supporting DSD256 and PCM 384 kHz high-resolution music streams with a 10Hz to 80kHz frequency response

iFi Audio has launched the Go Link 2 USB-C digital audio converter for smartphones and laptops. The petite adapter allows owners to enjoy lossless high-resolution music from local and online streaming sources such as Tidal thanks to its ESS Sabre DAC.
The 7.8 g (0.3 oz.) adapter supports DSD256 and PCM 384 kHz lossless streams with a frequency response of 10 Hz to 80 kHz and a THD+N of under 0.0015% (1.27 V @ 32 Ω), which is up to 62% lower than that of the original Go Link, according to iFi.
A single 3.5 mm headphone jack supports common wired headphones, with an output power of 1.59 V and 79 mW at 32 ohms or 2.0 V and 14 mW at 300 ohms. The company states the audio jack utilizes the its proprietary S-Balanced technology to reduce crosstalk by half when using common single-ended 3.5 mm headphones.
Firmware updates and sound settings can be adjusted using the Android iFi Nexus app. The petite Go Link 2 measures 137 x 12 x 7.6 mm (5.4 x 0.5 x 0.3 in.).
Readers can buy the Go Link 2 from the iFi store on Amazon or from iFi for an MSRP of $59.
