Shanling UA6 II portable USB DAC launches with 4.4mm balanced output, 8 high-fidelity DACs, and DSD Hi-Res Audio

Shanling's latest UA6 II portable USB DAC delivers high-fidelity music for balanced headphone enthusiasts. It incorporates eight Cirrus Logic CS43131 MasterHiFi D/A converters to output audio with a 133 dB dynamic range, 133 dB SNR, and a 121 dB noise floor..
The UA6 II supports uncompressed 32-bit/768 Khz PCM and DSD512 audio streams over a USB-C connection from smartphones and laptops. The compact DAC also supports UAC 1.0/2.0 USB modes for compability with game consoles, including the Nintendo Switch.
The aluminum-bodied DAC features a rotary menu/volume wheel and a 0.95-inch OLED display for quick control and status confirmation. Inside the 62 x 30 x 13.5 mm (2.44 x 1.18 x 0.53 in.) chassis, eight DACs provide up to 365 mW of power (at 32 ohms) to drive balanced headphones, with a frequency range of 20 Hz to 40 kHz and a THD of 0.0006%. An adjustable gain switch supports high‑sensitivity in‑ear monitors.
The lightweight UA6 II adds just 30.8 g (1.09 oz.) to a portable Hi-Res Audio setup. It includes a manual, high-purity OFC USB-C cable, and a USB-C-to-USB-A adapter. The Eddict Player app for Windows 10/11 computers and Android phones can be used to adjust settings remotely and update firmware.
The Shanling UA6 II DAC has an MSRP of $209 and comes in black, silver, and orange. The black UA6 II is currently available on Amazon. An optional MagSafe-compatible Magnetic Dongle Holster in black or orange enables convenient carry with smartphones.
