Xiaomi has announced two new electric scooters, along with a Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 special edition of its flagship model. Called the Mi Electric Scooter 1S and Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2, the scooters will go on sale for €399 and €499, respectively.

Xiaomi has released two new electric scooters, the Mi Electric Scooter 1S and Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2. Leaked earlier this year, the Scooter 1S and Scooter Pro 2 will retail for €399 and €499, respectively. As the images below demonstrate, the Scooter Pro 2 is the faster and longer-range electric scooter of the two.

Both have 8.5-inch pneumatic tires, multifunctional dashboards and an "aerospace-grade aluminium body". Additionally, they both have E-ABS and disc brakes, while Xiaomi claims that they can be folded in three seconds.

The Mi Electric Scooter 1S has a range of 30 km and a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The scooter also weighs 12.5 kg and has a maximum power output of 500 W. By contrast, the Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 has a range of 45 km, along with a maximum power output of 600 W and a weight of 14.2 kg.

Xiaomi has also announced that it will release a special edition of the Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 in partnership with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team. It is unclear what is special about the Mercedes edition, but Xiaomi is yet to confirm a release date.
