Xiaomi is set to launch the Redmi K90 lineup in China on October 23, 2025. So far, the company has showcased the design of the K90 Pro Max, revealing the interesting 2.1 speaker setup of the smartphone. Now, with a round of teasers, the brand has shared the core specs of the flagship phone.
As one of the teasers reveals, the Redmi K90 Pro Max will feature the high-dynamic primary camera found in the Xiaomi 17, the Light Hunter 950. This sensor was showcased as capable of offering detail-rich captures at challenging lighting conditions.
Alongside the 1/1.31-inch primary camera, the Redmi K90 Pro Max is now confirmed to sport a periscope telephoto with OIS. It's said to be capable of offering 5X optical and 10X lossless zoom. There's no official word about the third camera on the back, but it's expected to be an ultrawide.
The company further shares that the K90 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch display that's claimed to deliver the same experience as the screen of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max (available on TradingShenzhen). With "Qingshan Eye Protection 3.0," 1-nit brightness support, and full DC dimming, the panel is said to ensure comfortable viewing in challenging environments.
Another teaser shared by the brand has confirmed that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 of the flagship phone will be paired with the D2 graphics chip. This brings support for hardware-level super-resolution and gaming-focused enhancements. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Redmi K90 Pro Max will sport a 7,560 mAh battery, which is larger than the battery of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max.
This large-sized battery will have support for 100 W wired fast charging, 22.5 W reverse charging, and 50 W wireless charging. Xiaomi has confirmed support for the PPS protocol on the Redmi K90 Pro Max as well. More official details could emerge before the October 23 launch event.
