The Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro may be stealing the headlines currently, but Xiaomi is launching the Redmi K30 Pro before the end of the month too. Said to possibly be the cheapest Snapdragon 865-powered smartphone released this year, a new leak shows Xiaomi returning to a pop-up selfie camera. An in-screen fingerprint scanner and an AMOLED panel may be in order, too.

The launch of the Redmi K30 Pro is almost upon us, and several leaks have given an insight into what to expect from Xiaomi's next flagship. Possibly launched in some markets as the POCO F2 too, @ishanagarwal24 announced to his followers that the device would be one of the cheapest or "maybe even the cheapest" Snapdragon 865-powered smartphones to be released this year.

While Agarwal also stressed that the Redmi K30 Pro will not feature flagship-level specifications in other areas, other leaks suggest that the device will offer a lot more than the Redmi K30 does. As POCO India has teased, the Redmi K30 Pro may include an in-screen fingerprint scanner, which would be a premium upgrade over the side-mounted one that Xiaomi included in the Redmi K30.

Additionally, while Redmi has demonstrated an in-screen fingerprint scanner working in an LCD panel, the current consensus is that the Redmi K30 Pro will have an AMOLED panel instead. Moreover, leaked hands-on images of the device show that Xiaomi has returned to a pop-up selfie camera, an indication that the Redmi K30 Pro will have minimal display bezels.

Elsewhere, the two pictures show that the device has four cameras, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and presumably an IR blaster. Xiaomi has confirmed that it will be launching the Redmi K30 Pro before the end of the month.
