It has only been a few weeks since Xiaomi updated the Mi 9 Lite and Mi CC9, but the former is now receiving another update. This time Xiaomi has upgraded the Global and Russian branches of MIUI, having with updates released to the China and EU branches in early March and late February, respectively.
The latest round of updates are the first Android 10 builds to extend beyond China, and the first on the Mi 9 Lite. According to Xiaomi Firmware Updater and MIUI 11 Updates, stable versions of Android 10 have gone live for the Global and Russian branches of MIUI 11. Accordingly, your device should receive a notification to download the new update if it is enrolled in either of those branches.
If your device is a Global or Russian handset and you cannot yet upgrade to Android 10, then you can download the builds manually from Xiaomi's servers. The downloads are as follows:
V11.0.1.0.QFCMIXM (Global build) - 2.3 GB download
V11.0.1.0.QFCRUXM (Russian build) - 2.3 GB download
These can be installed by transferring the corresponding .zip to your device, heading to System Update, pressing the three-dot sub-menu and clicking "Choose update package". If that option is unavailable, clicking the MIUI 11 icon in System Update will enable it.
The European version of the Mi 9 Lite is now the only variant not to receive Android 10. Since Xiaomi only recently a new update earlier this month, Android 10 may not arrive until April.
Update
Unexpectedly, the EU version of the Mi 9 Lite has now received Android 10. Upgraded to V11.0.1.0 like other regional variants, V11.0.1.0.QFCEUXM should be arriving as an OTA on handsets now.
