Teased over the weekend, the POCO F2 is the Pocophone that people have been waiting for. Likely to feature a Snapdragon 865 and 5G connectivity, POCO India has hinted that the device will include an in-screen fingerprint scanner, fast-charging and a large battery, too.

Xiaomi, or rather its POCO India sub-division, has been dropping hints about its next smartphone, the POCO F2. Possibly a re-branded Redmi K30 Pro as the POCO X2 was to the Redmi K30, POCO is yet to confirm when it will be releasing the POCO F2 or if it will receive a global release.

There is no doubt that the device will be called the POCO F2 though, as the photo below demonstrates. If rumours about the Redmi K30 Pro are anything to go by, then the POCO F2 will feature a Snapdragon 865 SoC. By extension, it will also feature 5G connectivity.

Additionally, POCO India has hinted at some of the features that the POCO F2 will include. Entitled "3 icons, 3 features", POCO India is encouraging fans to guess and share their answers. Currently, the consensus is that (A) denotes an in-screen fingerprint scanner, while (B) represents fast-charging. Some people seem to think that this may be 30 W or 65 W charging, but 27 W charging is a popular option too.

Finally, (C) would appear to be hinting at battery capacity or battery life. Accordingly, people have been commenting that the POCO F2 will have a 4,500 mAh battery. This is the same size as the cell that Xiaomi included in the POCO X2, for reference. The Redmi K20 and K20 Pro had the same sized batteries, so it is not a huge leap to suggest that the POCO F2 will have a 4,500 mAH battery like the POCO X2 does.

While POCO India or Xiaomi are yet to confirm when they will release the POCO F2, the latter has confirmed that the Redmi K30 Pro will be arriving before the end of the month. Hence, expect the POCO F2 to launch shortly after the Redmi K30 Pro does, or for both devices to arrive simultaneously.
