Xiaomi is selling the Redmi Note 8 Pro from 1,099 yuan (US$157) and will even throw in a free pair of headphones until July 15

From now until July 15 Xiaomi is throwing in a free pair of piston in-ear headphones with every purchase of the Redmi Note 8 Pro via the company’s official Chinese webstore or at JD.com. As the offer is also valid on the latter retailer, overseas buyers can take advantage of the deal when stock is actually available too. Sales relating to the Redmi Note 8 Pro often see existing stocks getting snapped up rapidly due to the enduring popularity of the smartphone.

Along with a brand-new Redmi Note 8 Pro, buyers will get a pair of Xiaomi piston in-ear headphones that are valued at 27 yuan (US$4). It may not be the greatest giveaway ever in terms of monetary value, but considering the Redmi Note 8 Pro is a budget smartphone in the first place, you can’t expect much more than that. Xiaomi has the 6 GB + 64 GB model currently priced at 1,099 yuan (US$157).

Those willing to spend a bit more on a souped-up Redmi Note 8 Pro can either select the 6 GB + 128 GB model from 1,299 yuan (US$186) or the 8 GB + 128 GB variant that is priced at 1,499 yuan (US$214). At the time of writing, JD.com was showing all three variants of the Redmi Note 8 Pro as in stock and bundled with the free Xiaomi piston in-ear headphones.
