Xiaomi SU7 becomes subject of high-speed chase in new on-the-road leak

Despite talk of the MS11 as a model number over several months, the latest word on the first-gen "Xiaomi Car" is that it will launch as the SU7 (with putative Max or Pro options). Now, the same vehicle may not have been able to wait until its possibly imminent launch before taking to the road.

Despite its anti-detection camo, a motorist asserted that they were able to spot that the car in question was the SU7 due to its similarity to its official regulatory mugshots as leaked previously. However, the sedan's driver obviously became aware of the would-be automotive leaker, as they sped away with a characteristically EV-like burst of speed.

Its ability to veer across multiple lanes to evade its pursuer has led to speculation that it did so at up to 200 kilometers per hour (km/h, or ~124 miles per hour), not far off the SU7's rumored top speed of 210km/h. Accordingly, one might be able to expect fun out of this new sedan besides the novelty of having the name Xiaomi emblazoned across its trunk.
