The Kia EV3 was recently spotted testing on the road in the Republic of Korea. The crossover utility vehicle (CUV) was unveiled in October and has since been shown at the 2023 LA Auto Show in the US. The new model is a more compact version of the EV9, with a sloping roof and detached C-pillar, alongside the “Tiger Face” used on the older EV. The concept crossover SUV also features a transforming interior, with rotating and reclining chairs and small adjustable tables.
Images and a video of the Kia EV3 give a better idea of how the size of the car compares to other models. The new EV appears to be smaller than the other SUVs also seen in the video, as expected. It has been suggested that the EV3 will be closer in size to the Volvo EX30; the 2024 EX30 measures 4,233 mm L x 1,837 mm W x 1,555 mm H (~166.7 x 72.3 x 61.2-in).
The video also shows vertical LED headlights and wheels with a triangular design, similar to those used in the EV9. The Kia EV3 is expected to launch in 2024, with a starting price of around US$35,000. Further details, such as the trim levels, associated power and estimated range, have yet to be revealed.
