Kia has announced its 2024 EV9 EV lineup and pricing for the US. The model is the first electric three-row SUV from the brand, providing seating for up to seven people. US customers can reserve the Kia EV9 from October 16th with a refundable US$750 deposit. Prices start at US$54,900 for the entry-level Light trim, with the most expensive version in the lineup, the GT-Line e-AWD, costing US$73,900; a complete price list can be found below.
Early customers who make a reservation before November 27th will be eligible to receive free gifts, including a Webasto Go Dual Voltage Portable EV Charger. Plus, all customers who purchase the EV will receive a 1,000 kWh charging credit with Electrify America. The SUV is built on Kia’s 800V architecture with DC fast charging, allowing you to recharge the EV from 10 to 80% in less than 25 minutes.
The EV9 Light RWD has a 215 hp motor and 19-in wheels. The Light Long Range increases the battery capacity to 99.8 kWh, and the Wind AWD trim increases the total engine power 379 hp. The Land AWD EV has larger 20-in wheels, while the range-topping GT-Line has 21-in wheels, with the 283 kW 379 hp dual-motor providing up to 516 lb-ft of torque. As you move up through the trim levels, other features such as a heated steering wheel, extra captain’s chairs and a Blind-Spot View Monitor are added as standard. Deliveries of the EV9 in the US are expected to begin later this year.
