The Garmin Forerunner 745 smartwatch is discounted for Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event. Prime customers in the US can now buy the wearable for US$279.99, with the company suggesting this is a 30% or US$120 saving on the US$399.99 list price. The model recently retailed for the slightly lower price of US$368.99, meaning the discount is closer to US$89 or 24%. The gadget is still selling at the Garmin store for US$499.99.
The Forerunner 745 is also discounted in EU countries such as the Netherlands, where the Whitestone edition of the smartwatch is reduced from €419.99 to €355.00, a 15% price cut. Customers in Germany get a deal on the white version of the wearable too, with a 24% discount bringing the price down from €419.99 to €319.00.
Garmin’s Forerunner 745 is a running and triathlon smartwatch with up to six hours of battery life when using GPS and playing music. Other features include fitness statistics such as VO2 Max and training load, daily workout suggestions and Garmin Pay contactless payments. The Amazon US Prime Big Deal on the Garmin Forerunner 745 smartwatch is expected to end on October 11. It is unclear how long the offers will be available in the EU.
