Xiaomi may be focusing on the release of the Redmi K30 Pro right now, but do not forget that a Zoom Edition of the Redmi K30 Pro is on its way too. The device has now made its way to Geekbench, suggesting that the Zoom Edition will come with a Snapdragon 865 and at least 8 GB of RAM, too.

Likely released alongside the Redmi K30 Pro on March 24, the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition is currently the lesser-known device of the Redmi K30 Pro series. While we are yet to see any promotional imagery for the Zoom Edition, there is at least some confirmation that the device is on its way.

The Zoom Edition will feature the same Snapdragon 865 chipset as Xiaomi has confirmed will be in the Redmi K30 Pro. We can deduce this as the benchmark identifies the SoC as an ARM implementer 65 architecture 8 variant 1 part 3341 revision 0, the same as we have seen in past Snapdragon 865-powered Geekbench listings.

With 8 GB of RAM also onboard, we doubt that this is a renamed Redmi K30 Pro. Geekbench reports that the Zoom Edition has a "lmipro" motherboard, for example. This is different to a similar Redmi K30 Pro benchmark that appeared on the website in January. This listing carried the motherboard name "lmi", for reference.

The differences between the Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition currently remain unknown. However, the latter's name suggests that it will feature a minimum of an improved telephoto sensor.
