Xiaomi Redmi 10X 5G

Xiaomi has released its Redmi 10X series recently, unveiling the cheapest 5G phones around. This new series includes the Redmi 10X and Redmi 10X Pro. Both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 820 chipset, bringing upper mid-range power and 5G connectivity to the table. In fact, it should be noted that Xiaomi claims the chip has an Antutu score of 415,672 points, which is not far behind the Snapdragon 855‘s 445,343 points according to the firm. In terms of GPU, the Redmi 10X has been equipped with a Mali-G57 MC5. As for the 5G capabilities, Xiaomi previously confirmed that the Redmi 10X series supports 5G + 5G dual SIM technology. This is definitely possible with the MediaTek chipset, as Qualcomm 5G chips do not support 5G + 5G just yet. Both phones differ slightly in their battery capabilities, with the Redmi 10X Pro being packed with a 4,520mAh battery and 33W charging, while the standard Redmi 10X carries a 4,520mAh battery that tops out at 22.5W charging. The Xiaomi Redmi 10X 5G comes in different colours: Blue, Gold, and Pink for users to choose from.

As far as the display is concerned, the Redmi 10X sports a 6.57-inch OLED screen with a 2,400 x 1,080 resolution (HDR 10+, 20:9 screen ratio). The smartphone also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of its camera, there is a triple rear camera combination on this device: a 48MP main camera, followed by an 8MP ultra-wide camera, along with a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera on the Redmi 10X has been reduced to 16MP  compared to the 20MP on the Redmi 10X Pro. Apart from that, an interesting addition to the camera setup has to be Xiaomi’s decision of bringing automatic watermarks to the phone. This will allow the phone to add watermarks depending on what is in the picture (such as a cat, children or others). While it is undeniable that Xiaomi’s existing device watermarks are divisive, this is nevertheless an interesting way to use them. It should also be noted that the Redmi 10X has IP53 splash resistance.

Other features that have been incorporated within the Redmi 10X include an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a proximity sensor, and a compass. In addition to that, the smartphone has also been incorporated with an Infrared port, USB-2.0 Type C, Radio with recording, and Bluetooth 5.1. The USB Type-C port allows data transfer and charging, thus improving the overall user experience. As far as the RAM and storage options are concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi 10X comes with either 6GB of RAM with 64GB or 128GB storage, or 8GB of RAM with either 128GB or 256GB storage options for users to choose from depending on their individual need and preference. Overall, this device is definitely a great option to be explored, but the choice of owning one remains subjective.

83.6% Xiaomi Redmi 10X 5G Smartphone Review - Faster than a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra? | Notebookcheck
The Redmi 10X is an affordable mid-range smartphone that scores with a beautiful AMOLED panel and the fast MediaTek Dimensity 820 processor. We were positively surprised by the reliable speed of the optical in-display fingerprint sensor, which is excellent for this price range and whose response isn't really any slower than the ultra-sound solution in the Samsung Galaxy S20 smartphones.

79% Xiaomi Redmi 10 smartphone review: Good budget phone with NFC and 90 Hz | Notebookcheck
The Xiaomi Redmi 10 starts at less than 200 Euros (~$231), but that doesn't keep it from packing a punch in terms of features: A 90 Hz display is included with the 6.5-incher as well as NFC, a 50 MP camera, a 5,000 mAh battery, and stereo speakers. The MediaTek SoC Helio G88 even ensures good everyday and gaming performance.
60% Xiaomi Redmi 10 review
Source: Techradar English
The Xiaomi Redmi 10 is a budget 4G Android phone whose highlights are not initially what they might appear to be. Xiaomi has deliberately built up the Redmi 10’s camera housing to make it seem advanced, but the camera array you get here is actually mediocre at best. While its primary camera has 50 megapixels to its name, the results are inconsistent and rarely all that pretty. The real strong points are the stereo speakers, even if sound quality isn’t remarkable, solid battery life, and a decently sharp screen. As such, the Redmi 10 isn't as easy to recommend as some real Xiaomi hits of the last year or so, like the fantastic Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro or Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC. Its design and screen could belong to a more expensive phone, but the Xiaomi Redmi 10 is let down by a poor camera and unremarkable performance.

Xiaomi Redmi 10 Review: A mixed bag of mediocrity
Source: Phandroid English
If there’s ever been a phone that quantifies the term “mixed bag”, it’s the Xiaomi Redmi 10. On one hand, we have a well-built design coupled with solid primary and secondary cameras, and extras like expandable storage and the embedded fingerprint scanner in the power button. Plus the Sea Blue colorway just looks great, again, as long as you wipe your phone clean every time you touch it. Then, there’s the incredible battery life offered courtesy of the 5,000mAh cell that doesn’t take much of a hit even with 90Hz enabled. But on the other hand, the LCD display is just disappointing, the 18W “fast” charging feels like a joke with a battery of this size, and the UI lags every chance it gets. Throw in ads pretty much everywhere you turn and it’s easy to understand why this may not end up being as popular as it could be.

Xiaomi Redmi 10 Review Philippines: A King in Peril?
Source: Unbox English
For the sub-10K pricing category, the Xiaomi Redmi 10 is still one of the best options out there as our review showed us, especially if you’re living in the Philippines. It does pack some really great features that make this a relatively easy choice but it is a little strange for us to see it not come out on top in our performance benchmarks. Like we mentioned though, it can handle the usual suite of apps we use on a daily basis and for gaming as well and that’s what really counts. It does have a few little things that you could consider a con but they really aren’t massive ones that would make them deal breakers since its other features do tip the scales in the plus column at the end of the day.

Xiaomi is adding yet another budget device via the Redmi 10, (which we’re doing an unboxing on) dropping in the Philippines by September 18. We’ve already started our full review process of the Redmi 10 which should finish in a few days, but until then you can check out our Redmi 10 unboxing for the Philippines below: That’s pretty much it for our Xiaomi Redmi 10 unboxing for the Philippines. The phone looks to be a solid budget contender, though we’re going to keep an eye on the phone’s overall battery consumption because of the battery.

Xiaomi Redmi 10 Review, Pros and Cons
Source: OI Spice Tech News English
Problems like the absence of 5G connectivity, price, less strong chipset and low selfie camera can diminish the charm of the Xiaomi Redmi 10 smartphone. Still, it wins your heart with its powerful and long-lasting battery. Furthermore, the screen, the main camera and the much stronger processor draw your attention to this model. Another problem could be its global availability, as it is restricted to China only. Within days, the stock was empty. All phones were instantly sold as they came. Redmi has another series which is Redmi 10 Prime smartphone that could fill in the gaps. If you don’t want to wait for Redmi 10, checking out some alternatives might be helpful. You can get better smartphones on a similar budget. So our recommendation for this price would be the Redmi Note 10T with 5g enabled.

Xiaomi Redmi 10 Review: Budget Smartphone with Helio G88 and 90Hz
Source: Awaqua English
Compared to the previous generation Redmi 9, the new version of the Xiaomi Redmi 10 device has received a number of significant changes and, naturally, for the better. On the positive side, I can single out the presence of an updated design and high-quality assembly. I also liked the combination of using matte plastic, which didn’t leave much fingerprints on the back of the smartphone. In addition, the Redmi 10 device has good performance thanks to the new Helio G88 processor. I also liked the quality of the screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The main 50-megapixel sensor showed itself also from a worthy side, as well as the battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. But although there are drawbacks, given their cost, I cannot call them relatively strong. For example, the smartphone did not get the fast speed of the built-in memory. Also I would like to get higher video resolution and others.

76% Xiaomi Redmi 10 review
Source: GSM Arena English
Redmi phones have always been an easy recommendation, especially the ones from the vanilla Redmi series. And it's hard not to like a phone like the Redmi 10, which ranges between €160 and €200 and offers a relatively bright 90Hz IPS display, a long battery life, a set of dual speakers, good camera performance, and doesn't miss on any essential features (at least for some users) such as IR blaster, 3.5mm audio jack, dedicated microSD card slot and reverse charging. Nonetheless, things are changing, and more challengers worth considering are emerging. The limited availability of the Redmi 10 can be a setback for its success too. The Redmi 10 is a pretty capable budget phone. It's just that it's not the clear-cut go-to phone to get for affordability like the Redmi 9 was. This time around, there might be some better options out there, depending on your needs.

Review – Redmi 10: Another great budget phone
Source: NLT English
So, at the end of the day – the Redmi 10. There are a few things that I like about this phone – like having a stereo speaker setup and also an IR blaster – which I find myself using often to control all sorts of appliances around the house, including the camera that I use to take pictures and videos. Packed with that 5,000mAh battery and pretty decent performance overall, it all boils down to the price.

74% Redmi 10 Prime Review: Big upgrades, but is it worth it?
Source: Gadgetbyte Nepal English
So this was it for the review of Redmi 10 Prime. Like I said in the beginning, the Redmi 10 Prime starts at a much higher price than its predecessor. And it does reflect on its overall experience. However, if you can, you will be better off paying a little more for the Redmi Note 10 which I feel offers the better overall experience of the two.

Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime Review: Another Budget Smartphone But Not Best
Source: Cashify English
A successor to the Redmi 9 Prime, the new phone Redmi 10 Prime is here and it claims to have a lot of improvements over its predecessor. The smartphone includes a new MediaTek Helio G88 processor and a 50MP primary camera. But with all these new features, the device does come with an increased price tag where the base price of the Redmi 10 Prime starts at Rs. 12,499. A high refresh rate display, big battery and decent performance are a few things to look forward to. But with an average pair of cameras, bloated software and a higher price tag are a few downsides that make you look out for other options in the market.

70% Redmi 10 Prime review: Not ready for Prime time
Source: Android Police English
The 10 Prime isn’t necessarily a bad phone in itself, but its pricing and other better options in the segment make it difficult to suggest. Redmi's own Note 10 and Note 10S not just offer a more polished software experience but also win the value game with their superior overall package. And if you want something not as jam-packed as MIUI, the Realme Narzo 30 makes for a decent choice for around the same price as the Redmi 10 Prime. You also have to keep in mind that post-launch price rises are becoming a trend with Xiaomi phones, particularly at the lower end. We cannot rule out that the 10 Prime, which is already a bad value, could get even worse. We have seen that happen to the Redmi Note 10, which started out at the same price as the 10 Prime, but now you’ll have to shell out a couple of thousand more for it. But the fact is that you’d be better off with the far more capable Note 10, even with its revised prices, than going for the 10 Prime.

80% Redmi 10 Prime Review: Prime Candidate?
Source: NDTV Gadgets English
The Redmi 10 Prime boasts of better hardware than the Redmi 9 Prime but commands a higher price as well. While it does offer better performance than its predecessor, the cameras are lacking. You get a high-refresh-rate panel and a big 6,000mAh battery which should benefit casual users. At its starting price of Rs. 12,499, this phone will have to compete with the Realme 8i which has better specifications on paper (we'll review it soon). The higher priced variant of the Redmi 10 Prime is priced around the same as the Redmi Note 10S (Review) and Redmi 10T 5G (Review), both of which offer better hardware.

80% Redmi 10 Prime review: Is this worth the Rs 12,499 price tag?
Source: The Indian Express English
The Redmi 10 Prime is a good overall phone, but it’s pricing right now makes it a slightly tough recommendation. Performance should be your top priority when getting a budget phone, as it can help you run more apps and games, and makes the device slightly more future-proof.

Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime Review, Pros and Cons
Source: OI Spice Tech News English
Xiaomi reduces performance, camera quality, screen, and more when creating the Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime smartphone and it will be noticeable in everyday use. Unfortunately, you will not get 5g support or NFC which is acceptable according to the price point. But the table can change when it comes to long battery life, decent main camera, and awesome design. With these three basic pillars, the phone will attract many buyers. But the question remains, is it worth buying Redmi 10 Prime or not! If you are looking for an affordable phone the Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime smartphone can be a decent choice for you. Still, if you’re on a slightly higher budget, there are several impressive alternatives available such as the Realme Narzo 30 5G smartphone.

70% Redmi 10 Prime review: Budget smartphone done right
Source: Gadgets Now English
Can it win over the competition? Certainly, it can. For the starting price of Rs 12,499, the Redmi 10 Prime packs a lot of punch and also offers features that are important for people. For instance, the stereo speakers are good, loud and clear, the performance too is good enough for most people and the battery is just among the best things about the smartphone. The camera too performs well but needs some improvement that a software update can easily fix. It is simply a Xiaomi smartphone and behaves like one -- high on features, low on price. So, if you are looking for a budget smartphone then Redmi 10 Prime is a good option to go with.

70% Redmi 10 Prime review: a good-looking, affordable candidate that needs a bit more…
Source: 91mobiles English
The Redmi 10 Prime has all the specs you can expect from a budget Redmi device such as a large battery, decent performance and a high utility display, though the shooting prowess does leave one wanting. However, pricing the device so close to the Redmi Note 10, which is a better phone for the price, seems odd. My review unit, which comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 14,999 which does seem on the higher side. I think the Redmi 10 Prime is a decent phone, but if it is better cameras and performance you want, then the Redmi Note 10S or the Realme 8 would be safer bets.

Redmi 10 Prime First Impressions: Ready for Prime Time?
Source: NDTV Gadgets English
The Redmi 10 Prime seems like an upgrade on all fronts over its predecessor, the Redmi 9 Prime. However, the competition has also geared up in recent times. The Redmi 10 Prime is a little more expensive than its predecessor and might attract a different audience. Xiaomi's pricing puts the Redmi 10 Prime closer to the Realme Narzo 30 (Review) which costs Rs.1000 more but offers better hardware. Is the Redmi 10 Prime better than the Narzo 30? Can the Redmi 10 Prime carve out a spot for itself in the sub-Rs. 15,000 segment? Stay tuned to Gadgets 360 for the full review to find out.
