So overall, I would describe the Honor X7e and X6e as battery, design, and durability-focused budget phones made mainly for everyday users. What impressed me most is the massive 7,500mAh battery, 45W charging, solid drop protection, smooth high-refresh-rate display, and especially the lightweight and fluent MagicOS experience.

Honor’s X7e, taken on its own, is a very decent smartphone for its price. Compared to last year’s model, though, it’s a less well-rounded take on the brand’s budget lineup. You can still locate the X7d, with a similiar camera, 6,500mAh battery, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage for less than you’ll pay for the X7e. If you favour balance over specific features — this one’s stonking big battery and excellent camera come to mind — it’s a better idea to nab an older model.

For R6k, the HONOR X7e is another solid addition to the Chinese brand’s growing lineup of mid-range smartphones. While it is good at a number of things, along with sporting a premium felling design, serviceable camera, and great battery life, the same can be said for a number of similarly priced and specced smartphones on the market right now.

Overall, the Honor X7e is a decent budget smartphone for users who want something that’s sturdy and have a long battery life. Performance isn’t the best, but if you plan to use this phone just for day-to-day tasks and light games, it shouldn’t be a problem either.

ARM Mali-G52 MP2: Integrated mid range graphics card with 2 clusters. ARM states that the G52 series is 30% faster and 15% more efficient compared to the G51 series on the same process node.
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.
