Overall, the HONOR Pad X8b is a decent tablet for its price. However, if you already own its predecessor, the HONOR Pad X8a, this may not be a worthwhile upgrade. It offers almost the same features, with only a larger battery as a noticeable change. If it had a better chipset or at least an AMOLED display, it would have been a much stronger option.

While the upgrades are modest at best, the main selling point with the Pad X8b is its improved battery life through a bigger battery and better software optimization while keeping its dimensions roughly the same as last year’s Pad X8a.
