In this video, we’re taking a detailed look at the Honor Power 2, a device that claims to be a "hexagonal warrior" in the mid-range market. The Honor Power 2 arrives as a rugged-yet-premium 5G phone announced in January 2026 and released shortly after. It carries a tall 6.79-inch AMOLED display with 1B colors, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR Vivid support, and impressively high peak brightness of up to 8000 nits, making outdoor use effortless. The resolution sits at 1200 × 2640 with a sharp 427 ppi density, and aluminosilicate glass adds protection. Its body measures 162.1 × 76.3 × 8 mm and weighs 216g, wrapped in an IP68/IP69K-rated chassis that survives dust, immersion, and high-pressure water jets. MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 ships out of the box, keeping the interface modern and fluid, and stereo speakers complete the multimedia experience.

Is the Honor Power 2 a smartphone, or is it just a power bank with a screen? I’ve been testing this device for a few days, and the specs are honestly kind of ridiculous.

ARM Mali-G720 MP8: High-end graphics chip for smartphones with 8 of the 16 possible cores. Based on the new "5th Gen" architecture (successor to Valhall) including Variable Rate Shading (VRS) and Ray Racing. Compared to the G715, 15% higher performance should be possible at the same clock rates.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
