The Xiaomi internet detective Kacper Skrzypek has found details of a smartphone with the model number 2107113SG. The tech tipster has opined that this could be the Xiaomi Mi 11T and feels that the chance of this device having a Snapdragon 888 processor is “99%”. It’s widely expected the Mi 12 series will get to shine with either the Snapdragon 888+ or 895 SoC, leaving this mystery smartphone as a potential member of the Mi 11T series.
The Xiaomi Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, and Mi 10T Lite were released in September 2020, so if the company was planning on releasing a successor series, now would be the time for leaks to start appearing. Along with sporting a flagship-level chip in the form of the SD 888, it has also been rumored that the Mi 11T could feature an under-display camera at the front, which is a feature Xiaomi has been reportedly targeting as of late.
In addition, it has been mentioned that the Xiaomi Mi 11T could support ultra-wideband (UWB) communication technology that can be found in other high-end smartphones such as the iPhone 12 and Galaxy S21 Ultra. A Mi 11T, Mi 11T Pro, and Mi 11T Lite would be welcome additions to Xiaomi’s lineup as they would offer flagship-level performance and features but at a more-affordable price point than the Chinese company’s ultra-premium offerings.
