Xenoblade 4 could be announced soon for the Nintendo Switch 2

While the Nintendo Switch 2's video game catalog seemed lacking at launch, that now appears to be a thing of the past. Rumors suggest that Xenoblade 4 will be released on this console in the future.

It should be noted that the arrival of Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition on the Nintendo Switch surprised many fans and marked a major turning point. The Monolith Soft franchise is now available on this console, and all games can be played on it, much to the delight of millions of fans around the world.

As for the possibility of Xenoblade 4, we must turn to the Twitter account of Manami Kiyota, who is none other than one of the composers of Xenoblade Chronicles. On her account, she recently announced that she is “working on a new project with wonderful creators from around the world.” This naturally led fans to believe that a new title is in the works.

This is particularly the case with Kiyota's CV, where Monolith Soft's license takes pride of place, as she has worked on the vast majority of titles related to this franchise. However, Kiyota has asked fans to wait for official announcements, either from Monolith Soft or a third party, before jumping to conclusions. In other words, this is all just a rumor for now, although it is gaining momentum as the hours go by. 

But if it is indeed Xenoblade 4, this could be a big surprise for Nintendo Switch 2 owners and fans of the franchise. It must be said that this title is eagerly awaited by the latter, who are looking forward to diving back into this amazing world. As such, we will need to keep a close eye on any future clues revealed on the internet regarding this title, as well as official announcements from the studio concerned to confirm the development of this new game.
