Developed by the creators of Little Nightmares, this horror game finally has a release window on Nintendo Switch 2. But you'll have to be patient before you can experience the thrill of this unique universe.

The future looks very bright for Nintendo Switch 2. Indeed, after a catalog that was poor in video games, a new turn seems to have been taken by the Japanese firm. And this is the case with Reanimal, developed by the creators of Little Nightmares, which will soon be making its appearance on this medium.

Having already been announced some time ago, we now know when it will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2. But we'll have to be a little patient. Although it was expected in 2025, its development has been delayed and the release date is now set for the first quarter of 2026.

However, it won't be alone, as a collector's edition has also been announced, enough to delight many fans of this type of game. The title is a cooperative horror adventure that can be played online or locally, as well as solo, in which you take on the role of a brother and sister.

These two orphans trapped on a nightmarish island will do anything to find their missing friends. You'll have to explore the island while escaping the monstrous creatures chasing you, on foot or by boat.

Of course, like the Little Nightmares license, this game will scare you with its gloomy atmosphere and the story behind each place you discover. Not to mention a cinematic placing on stage and strident soundtrack that's sure to give you a good scare.

So, if you're interested in this game, the Collector's Edition has recently been unveiled. And it will contain the game Reanimal, a Season Pass with exclusive content available for download, an artbook and an exclusive collector's box. In addition, you'll be able to get a PVC statuette of “Pig” and “Bucket”. A set of stickers will also be available, as well as a key-ring and a poster showing the game's map. Be careful, though, as it's available in a limited version, priced at $199.99 on the game's website.
