Xbox has teased a new addition to Game Pass, hinting that an open-world title from Ubisoft could be joining the library soon.

January was a strong month for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, as Microsoft added several well-known titles to the library, including Resident Evil Village, Star Wars Outlaws, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and more. Even Quarantine Zone: The Last Check launched as a day-one Game Pass release. And now, a new tease suggests that another major game could be heading to Game Pass very soon.

On X, the official Xbox Game Pass account shared a short GIF showing a close-up of an eye and asked viewers to guess which game is coming soon. While Xbox hasn’t mentioned the developer or shared any additional details about the game, the GIF appears to point to Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, as the eye closely resembles that of the Ikran mount from the game.

If the game is officially revealed, it should be added to the Game Pass library later this month. The release would likely be for Xbox Series X|S and PC users, as the game is available on both platforms.

As for what the game offers, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is an open-world action-adventure set on the Western Frontier of Pandora, a region not shown in the movies. You play as a Na'vi who was captured by the RDA and raised away from your people. Years later, you return home but feel out of place. The story follows your journey as you reconnect with your culture and work with other Na'vi clans to protect Pandora from new threats. The full story campaign can be played solo or with a friend through online two-player co-op.

The game focuses heavily on exploration and survival. The open world offers plenty to explore, and players can also craft gear, upgrade weapons, and unlock skills based on their playstyle. One of the main features is bonding with a banshee, which allows you to fly across the map and take part in aerial combat. For ground combat, you can stick with traditional Na'vi weapons like bows and spear-throwers or use human firearms such as rifles and shotguns.
