Samsung's Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro is primarily aimed at business customers. The tablet comes with removable batteries that can be centrally charged in a charging station and can also be used in the cheaper Tab Active5. Furthermore, eight years of updates from the time of release are promised, which is very long indeed and reflects good value for money.
Private users can also benefit from these advantages. Although you wouldn't typically buy a battery charging station, Samsung doesn't offer these publicly for purchase either. The Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro, on the other hand, is available in many online shops and the easily removable batteries are certainly an advantage after a few years when the capacity decreases, as they can be replaced cheaply and easily. You can also buy a second set of batteries to double the battery life for longer use.
Since the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro is a 5G tablet and also has satellite tracking on board, navigation on long trips in sparsely populated areas and emergency calls is also possible. Even adventure or camping trips are unlikely to be an issue, as the tablet is protected against dust and water, has a very sturdy screen thanks to Gorilla Glass Victus+, and even comes with a thickly padded protective case for even more durability.
Possible uses include navigation on boats, as a rugged companion on construction sites, or on longer hikes. Lastly, the tablet can also be used with wet fingers or gloves and the battery lasts long enough to watch a movie in the evening.
The only things to consider are the weight and the relatively long charging times. Otherwise, we can wholeheartedly recommend the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro for many applications that would be too rugged for conventional tablets.
