Doogee has introduced a new tablet. The Tab A9 Pro+ runs on one of the latest Android versions and is able to stream HD content via the usual services like Netflix.
Doogee has released a new Android tablet, the Tab A9 Pro+ to be more exact. US-based customers can find the new device at the manufacturer’s official online store for $199, while European customers can currently grab the slate for a much cheaper €122 on Amazon. The price already indicates that this is not a high-end tablet, but the model should still be well-suited for media playback. Doogee specifically highlights Widevine L1 certification, which means that movies or TV shows from Netflix and other services can be streamed in HD quality.
Doogee’s new budget tablet further features an 11-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It’s an IPS panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Moreover, the Tab A9 Pro Plus is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T7200 SoC with 6GB of memory. The internal storage has a capacity of 128GB, which is not overly generous but can be expanded via microSD. The affordable tablet also sports a 13MP main camera and 5MP selfie camera, along with two speakers. The 8,580mAh battery can be charged with up to 10 watts and charge other devices with up to 5 watts. Lastly, it runs on Android 15 right out of the box, which is Google’s second most-current mobile operating system.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
