The battle for Android flagship tablet dominance continues. In the last few months, Lenovo, RedMagic and Xiaomi have been vying to create the world's most powerful compact tablet. While the three companies typically stick to comparing their tablets against Apple's latest iPad mini (curr. $399 on Amazon), it is evident that they are competing against each other with the Legion Y700 4th Gen, RedMagic Astra or Gaming Tablet 3 Pro and the Redmi K Pad.
Now, Lenovo has stepped up by revealing initial details about another tablet. Currently, the company is referring to the tablet as a lightweight flagship that also packs plenty of power. Although specifications remain unknown for now, some information can be gleaned from the image that Lenovo has shared on Weibo.
For instance, the Xiaoxin AI Tablet Pro GT features a power button mounted in the middle of its frame beneath separate volume up and down buttons. Based on this alone, we can infer that Lenovo intends for people to use the Xiaoxin AI Tablet Pro GT in portrait mode by default. Additionally, two rear-facing cameras can also be seen. Presumably, Lenovo intends to launch the Xiaoxin AI Tablet Pro GT in China before the end of the month.
