Reviews for the Vivo Y76 5G

For SGD $429, the vivo Y76 5G sure brings with it a pretty nifty set of features. With sleek aesthetics, a relatively long battery life, a decent screen, a fuss-free set of cameras, and overall snappy performance, the device will make most shopping around for a mid-ranger happy. Shop around longer, however, and you’ll realise that competition is rife in the mid-range smartphone market. For example, the phone’s lack of 90Hz refresh rate is jarring, seeing as how many phones within a similar price range have adopted this technology. That said, however, there are some uniquely vivo features that the brand’s loyal fans swear by that make the phone remain a worthy contender in the mid-range smartphone market.

The Vivo Y76 is yet another rebrand phone that Vivo is trying to sell until the smartphone. However, the processing speed and cloaking speed of the Vivo Y76 is decent so that you won’t face any problem during your day-to-day usage. However, if you want extreme gameplay, the battery doesn’t allow that. As far as the camera is concerned, you will get better options in the same price range. Long story short, if you are looking for something exceptional, waiting for the upcoming Redmi Note 11 series is a great decision as those phones will bring value to add features and quite a decent price range. However, if you are looking for similar features and 5G connectivity, the Motorola G51 can prove a better alternative option to the Vivo Y76. But, the final decision is yours, so wisely choose what you want from the smartphone according to your budget and need.

In this vivo Y76 5G unboxing, we see that this newest mid-range offering has its fair share of pros and cons. Just like its siblings in the X and V series, we think that it’s one of the prettiest phones that you can get at this price point but that’s very subjective and some of you might be looking for particular things like higher refresh rates or a stronger processor. Nonetheless, we’re going to put the Y76 5G through the wringer to see what this phone can actually do.

6.58":
It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.69.44%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
