The Vivo X Fold5 and X200 FE are already available in some markets. To recap, the X200 FE arrived first in Taiwan before making its way to some parts of Europe last week. By contrast, the X Fold5 is only officially sold in China; third parties are willing to offer imported devices, though.
Now, Vivo has confirmed the launch date of both devices in India on July 14. While this represents an expansion of availability for the X200 FE, it will mark the first time that the X Fold5 will be available internationally.
As a result, it appears that Vivo will beat Honor to releasing its latest foldable outside China. The same cannot be said for Samsung though, which is set to introduce the Galaxy Z Fold7 globally on July 9 to replace the Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $859 - refurbished on Amazon).
Seemingly, the X200 FE will launch in India unchanged from the global model we reported on last week. Vivo's website implies the X Fold5 will only reach India in its Titanium colour option, which is the thinnest and lightest of the three that Vivo offers in China. At this stage, it is unclear whether Vivo will pre-install OriginOS or Funtouch OS on its latest X Fold, though.
