The Vivo V50 Lite 4G is perhaps one of the more intriguing mid-range smartphones on the market. It features a thin and light chassis with a sleek modern design, flat edges and a thin bezel. Measuring just 7.8 mm (0.31 in) thick and weighing 196 g (6.91 oz), the phone also has an IP65 rating for protection against rain and water splashes.
Despite its slim profile, the Vivo V50 Lite 4G houses a massive 6,500 mAh battery capable of charging at up to 90 watts via USB-C, though it lacks support for wireless charging. Vivo claims the battery is designed to last at least five years. On the front, the phone sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display that delivers a 120 Hz refresh rate, a max full-screen brightness of 1,300 nits, and HDR peak brightness of 1,800 nits.
The V50 Lite 4G features a 32 MP punch-hole selfie camera positioned at the centre. The rear camera module includes a 50 MP main shooter with a 1/1.95-inch Sony IMX882 sensor, accompanied by an 8 MP ultrawide camera. As the “4G” in the name suggests, Vivo has made some cost-cutting decisions in the processor department, equipping the V50 Lite 4G with the rather dated Qualcomm Snapdragon 685, first introduced back in 2020. The 6 nm ARM chip comes with four Cortex-A73 performance cores capable of boosting up to 2.8 GHz, and four Cortex-A53 efficiency cores running at 1.9 GHz.
