Vivo's latest wireless earbuds might not be of the increasingly popular on-ear variety, but they do have the latest Bluetooth 6.0 standard (compared to 5.3 in their TWS 3e forebears as found on Amazon.de), even in the vanilla Air3 versions that have launched alongside their Pro counterparts.
The plain Air3s also have the latest Vivo stereo sound and spatial audio effects, although they are augmented with an extra Adaptive Audio feature in the Air3 Pros.
The series is also touted as markedly light TWS accessories across the board, with the Pro versions clocked at 3.8 grams (g) per bud while each Air3 is just 3.6g.
The vanilla buds also have the least battery life, although they are still backed to last up to 45 hours per charge, compared to 47 hours in the Air3 Pros and 52 in the Long Life (or 'Endurance') Edition.
Accordingly, the latter are also the most expensive set of new accessories at 229 yuan (~$32), dropping to 199 yuan (~$28) in the Pros and just 99 yuan (~$14) in the TWS Air3s.
Ironically, the latter has the greatest range of color options (Blueberry Blue, Peach Pink and Cloud White) compared to the more traditional choice of Galaxy Black or Vitality White in the TWS Air3 Pro and Air3 Pro Endurance Edition.
