The Doogee Blade GT Pro is now orderable. Specifically, the manufacturer is asking around $469 for this new phone, which is available with a corresponding launch discount. Prospective buyers should thoroughly review the shipping conditions beforehand, and deliveries are not expected until the end of June. The handset is offered in just one storage, but two color variants. Specifically, the Blade GT Pro always comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Therefore, the storage is not much of an issue, but the preinstalled and already outdated Android 14 might be. Users shouldn’t expect any major Android updates, either.
With that out of the way, Doogee’s latest phone is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 and a 5G modem. There are two separate card slots for dual SIM or storage expansion via microSD. Given the large internal storage, this may not be problematic. The phone meets the IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810 standards, but it’s not extremely bulky. To be more precise, it measures 7.03 x 3.29 x 0.41 inches and weighs 9.35 oz. However, the battery is not as big as in other rugged smartphones and offers a capacity of 5,800mAh as well as fast charging with up to 18 watts.
Moreover, the 6.7-inch screen has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and relies on an IPS panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Three cameras are found on the back, namely a 100MP main camera, a 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro lens. Meanwhile, the selfie camera has a resolution of 32 megapixels, and the Doogee Blade GT Pro sports a fingerprint sensor and NFC support, but no 3.5mm headphone jack.
