Vinghen Ti 1 electric push-bike with scooter-like design and 500 W motor is crowdfunding
The Vinghen Ti 1 electrified push-bike is crowdfunding on Indiegogo. The stand-on vehicle has been designed for commuters, combining the size of a bicycle with a scooter-like design. The company claims it is as robust as a mountain bike, with a 26 x 3-in (~66 x 8 cm) Kendra tire at the front and a 20 x 3-in (~51 x 8 cm) version at the rear. A 12 Ah Voltrax battery provides a range of up to 31 miles (~50 km).
You can ride at speeds up to 16 mph (~25 kph) thanks to a 250 W Bafang motor; your speed can be controlled by a thumb throttle, with up to 30 Nm of torque. Optional upgrades to the bike include a 500 W Bafang motor for a top speed of 18 mph (~29 kph) and up to 65 Nm of torque, and a 20 Ah 720 Wh battery. The Ti 1 has Clarks CMD-24E mechanical disc brakes and a skateboard-style plywood deck. A backlit matrix 2-in (~5 cm) LCD can show your speed and battery level information. You can also use the gadget to switch into walk mode and control the built-in lights. Plus, the push-bike comes with an integrated kickstand.
You can currently receive the Vinghen Ti 1 electrified push-bike when you pledge US$1,199 to the Indiegogo campaign. The bicycle is due to ship in March 2023 and is expected to retail for USS$1,549 in the future. The company suggests that the vehicle is around 40% cheaper than the average e-bike. You can buy the bike in Emerald Green and Signature Orange.
