Ultra-thin AirTag with MagSafe: Nomad presents Tracking Card
The Nomad Tracking Card comes in a polycarbonate format measuring 86 x 54 x 2 mm, making the card the same size but 2.5 times thicker than the standard credit card. The card should still fit into conventional wallets and allows you to track it down via Apple's "Find My" app.
This means the functionality is similar to an Apple AirTag, at least insofar the tracker can be tracked worldwide as long as any iPhone is within Bluetooth range. An integrated speaker allows users to play a sound in order to locate a tracking card nearby. Compared to the AirTag, buyers have to do without the ultra-wideband chip (UWB), which means that the direction in which the tracker is located cannot be displayed on the smartphone. But Nomad has another ace up its sleeve, apart from the slim format.
