Ugreen has released a new pair of super affordable headphones in China that pack several features. However, the highlight of the new HiTune Max5s is the battery life which goes up to 112 hours on a single charge.

Ugreen may be best known for its power banks and charging accessories, but it has a large portfolio of products that include earbuds and headphones. It has released a new pair of over-the-ear headphones in China, and not only are they pretty cheap, they also boast incredible battery life that puts more expensive models to shame.

Officially called the Ugreen HiTune Max5s, the headphones weigh 238 grams and are equipped with 40mm custom drivers with a PET polymer diaphragm. They have a sound pressure level of 113dB, and Ugreen claims they are excellent at low volumes.

The HiTunes Max5s also have support for active noise cancellation (up to 45dB) and analyze ambient noise up to 375,000 times per second. They also feature  five microphones which work in combination with an AI algorithm to reduce noise and amplify voice during calls.

Ugreen says they have support for spatial audio and LDAC. Users can also adjust the EQ, create custom ones, or create a personalized audio profile with a single click using the companion app. The headphones are advertised as having a dual Hi-Res gold certification, Bluetooth 6.0, and Bluetooth Multipoint.

Another feature of the headphones is the built-in Ugreen AI assistant which can help with transcribing audio to text and live interpretation with transcription and audio. It also has a conversation mode.

The highlight of the Ugreen HiTunes Max5s is the 800mAh battery claimed to provide up to 112 hours of playback time with ANC off and up to 74 hours with ANC turned on. Ugreen also adds that the headphones will last up to 30 days on a single charge based on 3.7 hours of use per day. The headphones charge via a USB-C port.

The Ugreen HiTunes Max5s headphones are priced at CNY 169 (~$25/€22) and are available to buy now in China from JD.com.
