Two well-rated indie games are available for free on Steam for a short time
With Weapon of Choice DX and Distant Space, two indie titles are currently available for free on Steam. However, gamers need to be quick with Distant Space. The offer is only valid until August 24 at 7 pm.
Weapon of Choice DX
Weapon of Choice DX is a fast-paced run-and-gun action game in which players fight as a member of an elite mercenary squad against an alien invasion. There are seven playable characters to choose from - each with a unique weapon. The game features non-linear level design with multiple paths and alternate endings, which increases replay value. The battles are intense and require quick reflexes, while the colorful, quirky graphics give the game a certain retro charm.

Distant Space
Distant Space is a 2D spaceship shooter in the arcade style of the 80s. On Steam, Distant Space has a very good average rating of 83 percent positive reviews from over 600 opinions. Developed and published by PixelMouse, the game was launched in September 2016 and is available for just $1. However, until August 24 at 7 p.m., gamers can save themselves the dollar and get the arcade game for free on Steam.
