In Terra Nil, a game developed by Free Lives and Clockwork Acorn, the objective is to transform barren land into an area rich in biodiversity. But to achieve this, you'll need to use various mechanics and technologies. 

Described as a reverse city builder, you’ll need to transform and purify the soil, clean up the oceans, plant trees and flowers, and create an environment where animals can live. But once you’ve achieved this goal, you’ll have to recycle all your structures. After all, the goal is to leave behind a clean environment free of pollution. 

Each new game features procedurally generated maps, allowing you to adapt your strategy to each type of environment. The developers have also released two updates, called Heatwave and Vita Nova. They feature new environments, challenges, animals, and gameplay mechanics.

Holding a "Very Positive" rating on Steam, with 87% of 8,789 reviews being positive, Terra Nil is praised for its relaxing gameplay and the variety of puzzles available across its maps. Although often described as an easy game, it can still provide some challenges. The graphics and soundtrack are also highlights. However, some players feel that there isn't enough advice on certain tasks and the photo mode is not particularly well received. Bugs that hinder progress have also been reported.
