Developed and published by Proxy Studios, Zephon is a 4X strategy game in which you'll build cities and manage your resources to help humanity survive. But you'll also have to overcome various challenges and survive numerous threats.
Created by the team behind Warhammer 40,000: Gladius, Zephon is a game that plunges you into a post-apocalyptic world. In this game, you'll have to lead the rest of humanity and ensure its survival.
In a world devastated by an alien apocalypse, you'll have to build and expand your cities and optimize your empire's economy using 11 different resources. More than 150 technologies can be unlocked, allowing you to upgrade your buildings, abilities, bonuses, and armies. Indeed, this hostile world is filled with danger, and you’ll face numerous threats during your expeditions.
Thus, you can command more than 50 different types of units, each with its own abilities, to defeat mutant creatures and various factions that reign supreme in turn-based tactical battles. Each victory will allow you to conquer new lands and expand your empire. But if you find yourself in trouble, don’t forget to try negotiating with your enemies.

With 83% positive reviews out of 1,851 reviews on Steam, Zephon is praised for its atmosphere, gameplay mechanics, and stable multiplayer mode. However, it shares many similarities with Warhammer 40,000: Gladius and some players criticize the repetitive gameplay, limited faction variety, and multiplayer balance.
Nevertheless, Zephon is currently available for $17.99 instead of $39.99, which is its lowest price on Steam. However, according to SteamDB, this 55% discount ends on July 27, 2026.
