A new high-end electric bicycle is available to pre-order in Germany, the Urtopia Carbon E-Bike. The bike is lightweight and easy to carry, weighing 30 lbs (~14 kg), thanks to its carbon fiber frame, fork, handlebars and seat post.

The e-bike's handlebar is named the Smartbar, with intelligent features including AI voice control and haptic interaction. You can connect to the bike using an eSIM/4G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Also on the Smartbar is an LED dot-matrix display.

Anti-theft tools include GPS tracking and fingerprint unlock. Plus, you can get a notification from the app if your bike moves without you. Urtopia promises over-the-air (OTA) updates, though it has not indicated what these will entail.

The bike has five speed modes, including Eco and Comfort, and a Gates Carbon CDN belt for a smooth ride. The vehicle has up to 80 miles (130 km) of range from its 360 Wh Samsung lithium-ion battery, with a 2.5-hour quick charge ability.

Customers in Germany can now pre-order the Urtopia Carbon E-Bike for €2,999.00 (~US$3,288). You can order the bike in three colorways, with orange, silver or rainbow accents on the frame. It is unclear whether or when Urtopia will offer the bike in other markets.
