The Samsung Galaxy S21 series is to launch in India with pre-order bundles including a free case and Galaxy SmartTag
Samsung has revealed that the Galaxy S21 Indian launch will start at 8:00 IST on the phones's global debut date (January 14, 2021). However, the OEM is holding a Pre-Reserve event for the new flagship series beforehand, to run from now until its unveiling. It involves having to buy a "VIP Pass" to lock such a pre-order down beforehand, at a cost of INR 2000 (~US$27).
Then again, this amount is deducted from the price of a new Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+ or S21 Ultra on actual payment. Furthermore, Samsung will throw a free Smart Clear Cover case into the order for free during the event.
Availing of this accessory - which normally goes for INR 3849 (~$52) - being included apparently does not preclude the buyer from getting the other accessories said to be included with every early Galaxy S21 pre-order in India.
They are said to include a new Galaxy SmartTag with each one. In addition, those who buy a Galaxy S21 or S21+ may get a free pair of Buds Live, whereas S21 Ultra buyers might be graced with complimentary Galaxy Buds Pro, slated to launch alongside the new phones.
Then again, Samsung has yet to reveal how much each new phone will cost - presumably this information is only available at the actual launch event. However, those who still find the final amounts too rich for their blood even with the zero-day bundles can also just cancel their VIP Pass and get a full refund rather than spending too much on these 2021 flagships.
