Samsung Canada accidentally confirms the Galaxy Buds Pro name ahead of launch

Some recent leaks point to new TWS earbuds that are to accompany the Samsung Galaxy 21 series at the next Unpacked event. Now, an official webpage has confirmed that they definitely won't be introduced as the Buds Beyond. These Pros are said to have improved ANC at a higher price-tag on their release.

Preliminary trademarking-related leaks suggested that Samsung would follow the Galaxy Buds Live with new TWS products called the Buds Beyond. However, it is now all but certain that the OEM has dropped this name in favor of the term "Pro" (and the model number RM-190) in this upcoming generation of accessories.

These earbuds - said to have the 'popcorn' form factor and to be styled to match the Galaxy S21 flagship phones - may be associated with "intelligent" active noise cancelling (ANC) features and reduced battery life in some modes. Furthermore, they are said to launch at a higher price compared to the recent Buds Live and Buds+ variants.

They are in fact rumored to start at up to US$199 in some markets. Furthermore, the Buds Pro are also now estimated to sell for as much as €229 (~US$278) in Europe. Therefore, early rumors that they would also come bundled with a new S21-line device are hopefully also true.
