Epic Games has announced that its store's Summer Sale 2021 event is now on. It contains deals such as 33% off Assassin’s Creed Valhalla or 20% off Days Gone. The platform has also released its usual choice of free games for the week, which currently include Defense Grid: The Awakening and Verdun.

Epic Games has made its latest Store Sale official, with occasionally extensive discounts on certain titles, albeit without potentially cumulative coupons this time. Nevertheless, it might be a good chance to add some missing titles to your library at a decent price.

To that end, titles such as Days Gone, GTA VPlayStation 5 devkit images show what could have been and mailshot reaffirms GTA V Enhanced is coming to the PS5 soon and Hitman 3 are available at reduced prices, with 50% off the latter. Similarly, Assassins Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs: Legion have discounts of 33% and 60% respectively - or 45% when bundled together.

Alternatively, one could grab the new BIOMUTANT (Experiment 101/THQ Nordic) at 10% off its normal asking price. Epic Games has also announced that Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms players can grab the latest character pack (Ellywick) free (as opposed to its normal US$24.99 valuation) until the end of this sale.

It runs until August 5, 2021, and coincides with the offer of new free games that include Defense Grid: The Awakening and Verdun until July 29, 2021, or Train Sim World 2 and Mothergunship for the week thereafter.
