Intel's Arrow Lake laptops are rumoured for a mid-to-late September launch. Some Arrow Lake chips and high-end Z890 motherboards are expected to follow suit in October.

With AMD's Ryzen 9000 desktop chips and Ryzen AI laptop processors due to hit shelves next July, there is stlll no word about when their Intel equivalents will launch. A new leak from Benchlife answers that question. It gives AMD plenty of time to get Strix Point and Granite Ridge silicon out in the open.

Intel's Lunar Lake laptop processors will be revealed in mid-September. However, they won't go on sale until next year, which is understandable as many OEMs would prefer waiting until CES before showing off their next-gen laptops.

Even though Intel provided a wealth of information about Lunar Lake's CPU, GPU and AI prowess, we still don't know how many SKUs the lineup has. Plus, they could be joined by some rebranded Raptor Lake models that will not bear the "Ultra" branding.

Next up, Intel plans to show off its Arrow Lake desktop chips via a dedicated Intel Innovation event on September 24/25. They can be bought in October, along with high-end Z890 motherboards. They'll be the first Intel desktop chips to launch under the "Core Ultra" name.

If previous launch cycles are anything to do by, the K-branded SKUs will launch first. The remaining non-K Arrow Lake processors and H/B series motherboards will be unveiled alongside Lunar Lake laptops at CES 2025. In essence, the PC market will be flush with new hardware in the coming weeks, especially with Qualcomm entering the fray.
