Leak reveals key specs of Intel Arrow Lake-U, -H, -HX and -S

Intel Arrow Lake is expected to be based on the same processor architecture as Lunar Lake, meaning that Intel's brand new Lion Cove performance cores will be combined with the economical Skymont efficiency cores. While Lunar Lake is only available as a variant with four performance and four efficiency cores for particularly thin and light laptops, Arrow Lake will be offered for gaming laptops, mobile workstations and desktop computers.

Back in May, rumors suggested that Intel Arrow Lake-S would comprise a total of 13 desktop processors, including the Core Ultra 9 285K, which comprises eight performance cores and 16 efficiency cores, but can only process 24 threads simultaneously because Intel's new CPU architecture does not support hyper-threading. Leaker @harukaze5719 has found information on the other Arrow Lake series in the NBD customs database. According to this, the following configurations will be offered:

Arrow Lake-S (desktop processors)

• 8 P-cores + 16 E-cores | 36 MB L3 cache | GT1 iGPU
• 6 P-cores + 8 E-cores | 24 MB L3 cache | GT1 iGPU
• 6 P-cores + 0 E-cores | 18 MB L3 cache | GT1 iGPU
  
  

Arrow Lake-HX (high-end notebook CPUs)

• 8 P-cores + 8 E-cores | 30 MB L3 cache | GT1 iGPU
• 6 P-cores + 8 E-cores | 24 MB L3 cache | GT1 iGPU
  
  

Arrow Lake-H (performance notebook CPUs)

• 6 P-cores + 8 E-cores | GT2 iGPU
  
  

Arrow Lake-U (for thin and light notebooks)

• 2 P-cores + 8 E-cores | GT1 iGPU
  

The list is unlikely to be complete, and the leak also suggests that Intel is installing a slow GT1 iGPU in all processors apart from the H series, with only Arrow Lake-H receiving a faster Intel Arc iGPU. However, this will continue to be based on Arc Alchemist architecture instead of Arc Battlemage as in Lunar Lake.

Thanks to the newer CPU architecture and production in TSMC's N3B process, the chips are expected to work much more efficiently than Raptor Lake and Meteor Lake. Intel Arrow Lake is expected to be launched on desktops at the end of this year and on laptops at the beginning of next year.
