Intel Arrow Lake slated to arrive under the Core Ultra 200 branding; Core 200H chips rumoured to be another Raptor Lake refresh
Earlier this year, Intel launched three entry-level processors: the Core 7 Processor 150U, Intel Core 5 Processor 120U, and Intel Core 3 processor 100U. At first glance, they sound like Meteor Lake SKUs but they are, in fact, refreshed variants of Raptor Lake chips. Golden Pig Upgrade, a well-known Bilibili leaker says Intel plans to do it again.
Raptor Lake will get yet another makeover and be relaunched as the Core (not Ultra) 200H series. It will launch alongside Arrow Lake chips under the Core Ultra 200 umbrella, which will include Core Ultra 200U, Core Ultra 200H, and Core Ultra 200HX SKUs. This makes Intel's 2025 laptop lineup confusing, even for someone familiar with the new nomenclature.
Exactly how the Core 200H chips differ from their last-gen Raptor Lake counterparts remains unknown. On the other hand, Arrow Lake (Core Ultra 200H/HX/U) is rumoured to ditch hyperthreading and LP-E cores. Additionally, they will launch with a 4-core Intel iGPU instead of Meteor Lake's 8-core variant. Performance-wise, Arrow Lake is said to be up to 25% faster than Raptor Lake in single-threaded workloads.
