A company executive has confirmed Stellar Blade will launch on PC sometime in 2025. An exact release window isn't specified, but the company is optimistic it will sell more on units PC than it did on the PlayStation 5.

Stellar Blade, Shift Up's first major PlayStation 5 release, is all set to launch on PC next year. While an exact release window isn't known, it effectively confirms an earlier rumor that heralded its arrival on the platform. Inven (via Insider Gaming) spotted it in Shift Up's recent earnings call.

The company expects Stellar Blade to perform better on PC than it did on consoles. But, that'll be a pretty steep hill to climb. A report from five months ago estimates Stellar Blade sold around a million units on PlayStation 5 and that figure has undoubtedly gone up by now.

Plus, the game can be classified as a Souls Lite. It isn't particularly easy and requires some degree of skill to finish, at least for players nor familiar with the genre. That said, Stellar Blade is one of the better-received games of 2025, so many players will have no qualms double-dipping, especially for the modding potential alone.

Stellar Blade is set to get a Nier Automata-themed DLC on 20 November, but nothing is planned in the way of a story expansion.
