Steam deal: Mythological open-world RPG drops from $40 to $4
In Immortals Fenyx Rising, players step into the role of Fenyx, a demigod in the world of Greek mythology. On the Golden Isle, they must face Typhon, the most powerful Titan, who has overthrown the gods and plunged the world into chaos. To restore balance, players battle mythical creatures like Cyclopes and Minotaurs using a mix of melee and ranged weapons, as well as divine abilities. One key power is Daedalus' wings, which let Fenyx soar through the air and outmaneuver enemies, adding fluidity to combat. This dynamic system has been especially well received by the community.
Immortals Fenyx Rising offers a vibrant open world with a comic-like art style reminiscent of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Players can tame and summon legendary mounts, making exploration much easier. With Daedalus' wings, Fenyx can leap from great heights and glide across the landscape. A standout feature is the game's creative puzzles, which encourage exploration and reward logical thinking.
Exciting combat, but not without flaws
Developed by Ubisoft Quebec, Immortals Fenyx Rising launched on Steam in December 2022. Since then, it has garnered 3,366 reviews, with 71% being positive. On Metacritic, the game holds a Metascore of 79 and a user score of 7.5 . In its review, the German gaming portal GameStar praises the fun combat system and atmospheric game world. However, it criticizes the repetitive character and enemy design, as well as the shallow story. Despite the creatively designed world, the formulaic open-world design typical of Ubisoft remains clearly recognisable.

The game is currently available on Steam at a significant discount as part of the Ubisoft Publisher Sale, which ends on March 13.
