SpaceX has introduced its cheapest Starlink satellite Internet plan, tailored to subscribers who only need a backup data source while traveling, or when their home broadband is cut for any reason.
At its enticing price, this Starlink Roam Internet plan can be kept as an option indefinitely, and used when traveling, camping, or simply as a backup.
Cheapest Starlink Internet plan
- $10/month
The cheapest Starlink data plan comes at only $10/month, and can be found as an option in the app. It includes 10GB of data at full speed, and SpaceX would charge $2/GB for overages afterward.
Granted, the next Starlink roaming Internet plan price tier gives subscribers 50GB of high-speed data, but then again, it is $50/month and not something anyone would like to pay just in case they need it.
The most expensive Starlink Internet plan is $165/month for unlimited roaming data, so the new $10/month tier could be a godsend for occasional users.
Some are even commenting that, at this price, they may never cut their subscription off, and intend to carry a Starlink dish in their trunk wherever they go just in case they might need it.
Unfortunately, the Starlink Standard Kit dish price is kept the same at $349 over at Best Buy, but the retailer offers a $120 discount for the Starlink Mini Kit now.
Still, those who have already bought a Starlink dish for their home or travels, will certainly appreciate the new cheapest satellite Internet plan of just $10/month that SpaceX now offers.
